ANDREW HARKIN

Intern Osteopath

OSTEOPATHY

Andrew found his passion for Osteopathy after experiencing multiple sporting injuries as well as back pain throughout his younger years, and finding that Osteopathy was the only form of manual therapy that seemed to help him.

Growing up in Ivanhoe and playing Football, Basketball and Cricket for the local Ivanhoe clubs, Andrew understands the local community and strives to assist others in his much loved area, to reach their personal health goals and live pain free.

Currently finishing off his Bachelor’s Degree of Osteopathy at RMIT University, Andrew has already flourished in the clinical world, treating regular patients weekly at the Health Science centre in Bundoora.

Andrew offers many modern treatment techniques to relieve pain symptoms and thoroughly enjoys developing a tailored exercise rehabilitation plan for each and every patient he sees, to ensure long lasting results that target the cause of the issue.

Through owning a Men’s Clothing Label during his University years, Andrew has developed a vast amount of knowledge on Social Media. Combined with his love for exercise rehabilitation, he has been helping with the recent content on Osteopaths of Ivanhoe social media platforms.

In his spare time Andrew loves having a drink with his group of mates and girlfriend, travelling the world, exercising at the local gym and cheering on his Carlton Blue Boys on the weekend.
