Kathryn discovered her fascination for the human body while studying a bachelor of music majoring in classical voice at the school of music ANU in Canberra.
After graduating in 2012, she pursued her passion by completing her diploma in Remedial Massage at Endeavour College. She furthered her study at RMIT completing her Advanced diploma in Myotherapy.
Kathryn enjoys treating people from all walks of life, as reflected by her diverse experience. She particularly relishes working with musicians in order to help them develop their best practice and treating patients with special needs or disability.
Kathryn thrives on enabling all facets of the body to work together to achieve its own balance, via thorough assessment, testing and treatment. Some of her techniques include: deep tissue massage, myofascial release, cupping, dry needling and corrective taping.
In her spare time Kathryn likes keeping up with artistic pursuits, furniture restoration, training her cheeky puppy Pippa and and going for adventurous walks with her partner.
Kathryn is a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA) and has furthered her skills with courses in Functional Assessment & Performance Movement Assessment Technology (MAT), Injury Prevention, Functional Movement for Myotherapists, Neuroplasticity for Myotherapists, Functional Fascial Taping and has worked as an Allied Health Assistant with Neurological Physiotherapists.
