Millie has a diverse range of experiences particularly from her time in Canada developing an interest in women’s health and running injuries. This is also evident by her commitment as a sports trainer for the Hawthorn Women’s VFL team and as a member of the Osteo Sports Network.
Millie was selected to undergo an internship in Canada involving shadowing and co-treating with local osteopaths and physiotherapists. Millie has gained a great deal of knowledge in Canada and applies these skills throughout her treating approach.
Through Osteo Sports Network Millie has undertaken various sports training courses to further develop her knowledge of working in sport.
Her passion for osteopathy lies in its recognition of the body functioning as a whole and the ability to restore patients to the best functioning version of themselves.
Millie has a keen interest in running and has been trained to perform gait analysis at Runner’s World where she is exposed to a large range of lower limb injuries. Millie is training for her first half marathon in October.
Aside from being a keen runner, in her spare time Millie enjoys playing tennis and travelling with friends and family.
