SIERRA CHANDLER

Intern Osteopath

OSTEOPATHY

Sierra’s passion for osteopathy comes from her love of sport and her desire to help people get back to doing what they love.

At the beginning of 2019, Sierra completed a clinical placement in Canada where she was able to work alongside international osteopaths and physiotherapists. Here Sierra gained additional clinical knowledge and skills in chronic pain management, athlete screening and post-concussion syndrome rehabilitation.

Sierra is part of the medical team at North Melbourne Football Club with experience at both AFLW and VFL level. Her involvement in football has enhanced her understanding of injury prevention, rehabilitation and how treatment can complement performance.

Sierra enjoys treating people from all walks of life, and has a passion for educating and empowering others though her practice. She also has a special interest in lower limb injuries.

Sierra has completed additional training in dry needling, myofascial cupping and rock tape application.

In her spare time, you can catch Sierra playing football for her beloved Darebin Falcons, spending way too much time fussing over her spoilt dog or taking a road trip down to the peninsula.
